These and many other nonprofit advocacy organizations played an important role in forming the USDA SARE program as well as funding conservation programs at the Natural Resources Conservation Service, among other initiatives. You’ll learn more about USDA SARE and other partners working toward sustainable agriculture in Unit 3 of this course.
